EDGE's members are organized into five Collaborative Translational Research Teams (CTRTs).
EDGE Director of Collaborative Science Professor Karen Levy has responsibility for the leadership of the CTRT initiative. Consistent with the overall mission and goals of the EDGE Center, the goals of each of these CTRTs are to:
- Foster innovative research collaborations among EDGE investigators that emphasize the role of environmental factors and encourage partnerships that stimulate translational and clinical research related to EHS;
- Promote the development of EHS-relevant interdisciplinary research grants (e.g., R01s, multi-investigator projects) and, where appropriate, interdisciplinary training grants relevant to the CTRT;
- Encourage the use of advanced Data Science approaches available through the Facility Cores, as well as the vast resources of the TRSC;
- Promote the career development of early-career faculty within each CTRT.
