The CEC is a research partner and technical advisor to the Duwamish Valley Clean Air Program, coordinated by the Duwamish River Community Coalition with the support of a broad coalition of academic, agency, community, and non-profit organization partners. DAISY

The Duwamish Air Improvement Study for Youth (DAISY) project aims to reduce asthma symptoms in Duwamish Valley youth through low-cost air filters, conduct a community-led air quality monitoring campaign, and measure residents' empowerment. See UW blog and Seattle Times news coverage here.
